First two-game losing streak for the Bruins
The Florida Panthers showed composure to come from behind and beat the mighty Boston Bruins 4-3 in overtime on Saturday at FLA Live Arena.

With just 48 seconds left in the third period, David Pastrnak scored a devastating wrist shot to give his team a one-goal lead. The Bruins were on their way to their 17th road win of the season … but Aleksander Barkov didn’t have the last word.
The home team’s captain grabbed a rebound to force overtime with just three seconds left on the clock.
Sam Reinhart played the heroes after 17 seconds of play in overtime. His one-timer rattled the strings so fast that officials initially thought the puck hadn’t gone through Jeremy Swayman’s cage.
The Bruins have lost two straight games for the first time this season after losing to the Tampa Bay Lightning on Thursday.
Sam Bennett and Brandon Montour also contributed to the war effort for the Florida team.
Bruce Cassidy’s team led three times in the game before losing. Craig Smith and Charlie Coyle pierced Alex Lyon’s armour.
Lightning are no longer losing at home
The Tampa Bay Lightning extended their home game streak to 12 with a 5-2 victory over the Los Angeles Kings at Amalie Arena. This is the longest streak in Bolts history.
Brayden Point rolled into Tampa late in the first half after seeing teammate Nikita Kucherov stand alone in the slot. It’s the 29th goal in 48 games for the Lightning’s 2015 third-round pick.
Two former Montreal Canadiens 2020-2021 colors also scored a goal in the game: Corey Perry for the Lightning and Phillip Danault for the Royals.
Yıldırım defender Viktor Hedman, who scored only four goals this season, scored in the second game in a row.
Pierre-Edouard Bellemare and Ross Colton also threaded the needle for the hosts, while Jaret Anderson-Dolan flashed the red light for the Kings.

Carter Hart shines in Flyers win
In Winnipeg, Philadelphia Flyers goalie Carter Hart was the big hero in a 4-0 win over the Jets.
Sherwood Park, Alta., frustrated Manitoba 40 times during the game. He leaves Winnipeg in his first appearance of the season.
Forwards Noah Cates and Owen Tippett each had a goal and an assist in the game. Kiefer Bellows and Tony DeAngelo also outplayed Connor Hellebuyck.

Five point game for Logan Couture
It’s unclear if Logan Couture has a grudge against the Pittsburgh Penguins, but he appeared to be on a mission Saturday at PPG Paints Arena. He had five points in a 6-4 win over the San Jose Sharks.

The Guelph native finished his night’s work by shaking the ropes of an abandoned cage. At the age of 33, he had his first five-point game in his career.
