First two-game losing streak for the Bruins

The Florida Panthers showed composure to come from behind and beat the mighty Boston Bruins 4-3 in overtime on Saturday at FLA Live Arena.

With just 48 seconds left in the third period, David Pastrnak scored a devastating wrist shot to give his team a one-goal lead. The Bruins were on their way to their 17th road win of the season … but Aleksander Barkov didn’t have the last word.

The home team’s captain grabbed a rebound to force overtime with just three seconds left on the clock.

Sam Reinhart played the heroes after 17 seconds of play in overtime. His one-timer rattled the strings so fast that officials initially thought the puck hadn’t gone through Jeremy Swayman’s cage.

The Bruins have lost two straight games for the first time this season after losing to the Tampa Bay Lightning on Thursday.

Sam Bennett and Brandon Montour also contributed to the war effort for the Florida team.

Bruce Cassidy’s team led three times in the game before losing. Craig Smith and Charlie Coyle pierced Alex Lyon’s armour.

Lightning are no longer losing at home

Carter Hart shines in Flyers win

In Winnipeg, Philadelphia Flyers goalie Carter Hart was the big hero in a 4-0 win over the Jets.
