Success on Galaxy A52 and A52 is not easy. Samsung Galaxy A53 5G shows new priorities. In terms of ergonomics and screen, it takes them with a certain mastery. The smartphone has a really successful Amoled screen, which allows you to enjoy multimedia content. It also has the merit of offering a more satisfying photo component than its elders, making it a more versatile model. On the other hand, the balance is mixed in terms of power and autonomy, correct but lower than last year. These caveats aside, Samsung has the decency to extend the promise of software updates to 4 years on this Galaxy A53 5G, a favor it no longer holds for its Galaxy S22s: the durability we’ve observed is not increasing.
Strong points
- The photo component is handled better than the Galaxy A52.
- Amoled screen good quality.
- IP67 certified.
- Very good finish.
Weak points
- Average graphics performance.
- Decent autonomy, but less than the Galaxy A52.
- Jack’s disappearance.

Google’s Pixel 6a isn’t bad compared to the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro. The “affordable” version of this smartphone convinces with its undeniable advantages: a quality screen, more than satisfactory performance and a very manageable photo component. It is also IP67 certified, taking this feature from high-end terminals. What’s missing is slightly faster charging, higher screen brightness and a more generous refresh rate. But at the launch price, there are few or no smartphones to date with a basic warranty to provide long-term software monitoring.
