The police station was evacuated due to a gas leak nearby
Maybe a failed shovel hits the pipe? Again, this Thursday afternoon at around 14:30 a gas leak was reported in the Savasse area in Romans-sur-Isère.
A 100-meter security perimeter was established and the Romans-sur-Isère (Drôme) police station, as well as the tax center and the nearby music town, i.e. about fifty people, were evacuated. Gas has been cut off to ensure the safety of the area. Evacuated workers began returning to their buildings around 4:15 p.m.
Up to 380 houses were left without gas. Networks are scheduled to be back on, back to normal, during the day on Friday.
