Founded by Cartier in 1990 under the name Institut Supérieur de Marketing du Luxe and attached to the main management school, Sup de Luxe is the main institution in the sector. What is a luxury bachelor?

Are you a bachelor this year and passionate about the world of gastronomy, perfumery, jewelry and even fashion? Welcome to Sup de Luxe, sought after and created by industry professionals! Several courses await you, starting from the Bachelor’s Degree in Luxury, bac +3 level diploma up to MBA (bac +5) level, which can be obtained in the center of La Villette, Paris. It prepares students to become a Marketing and Promotions Specialist (level 6 certified, RNCP registered). The Bachelor’s is ranked first among the Best Licenses in Luxury Management by Eduniversal. Sup de Luxe, supported by the EDC Paris Business School, also offers a dual diploma with bac +3 certification by the Ministry of Higher Education.

This ultra-professional diploma is awarded by operational experts who have worked for the biggest luxury brands in France and abroad (Chanel, Fauchon, Christofle, etc.). During the undergraduate studies, students gather about 15 months of professional experience.

How is the course organized?

First year

Emphasis is placed on theoretical foundations: general luxury culture, fundamentals of sales and customer relations, introduction to luxury marketing, and international brand development. There are even lessons on modern etiquette and etiquette. The training is completed by an 11-week experiential immersion.

Second year

Students delve deeper into specialized topics such as visual merchandising, CRM tools, customer relations, e-reputation, creative and the evolution of trends in the luxury sector. To combine theory and practice, workshops are offered in selected sectors in collaboration with major houses (food and drink or fashion/sewing/accessories). An eight-week internship completes this busy year.

Third year

To better understand the commercial and marketing strategies of luxury brands, the lessons revolve around the following topics: Retailing and purchasing, profit center management, strategic and operational marketing, introduction to human resource management, introduction to Photoshop/Illustrator… second year, students attend elective seminars before spending three to six months on an internship.

A team closely related to the world of luxury

Sup de Luxe has a business contact center to support students in their search for an internship or apprenticeship. Due to the school’s history, there is a close connection with Cartier, but students can also intern at most of the big luxury houses, such as Balenciaga, Boucheron, the Ritz hotel, Kenzo, Mariage Frères, Saint Laurent or Van Cleef & Arpels. .

Students can also count on nearly 3,500 alumni working in positions of responsibility with brands in 74 countries. This network, called Les Diplômés de Sup de Luxe, appears on LinkedIn. Emphasis on professionalization, allowing students to enter the labor market directly after completing their bachelor’s degree if they so choose.
