We are proud to play a role in facilitating the adoption of this exciting technology
A smarter home with minimal effortyou
Setting up Samsung’s SmartThings Station is easy. When the user turns on the device for the first time, pop-up messages appear on the user’s Samsung Galaxy smartphone to guide users through the easy connection process. Users can also choose the option to efficiently operate on-board devices by simply scanning a QR code with their smartphone camera.
Intuitively adapts to users’ daily routine
A smart home hub helps multiple devices, including thermostats, lighting, and power outlets, seamlessly communicate with other devices connected to a smart home server, all of which work together to create a tailored environment. SmartThings Station makes it easy to automate predefined routines created through the SmartThings mobile app without requiring users to manually control individual devices.
By pressing a smart button on a SmartThings station, users can activate a mode created in their SmartThings app. For example, when it’s time to go to bed, a simple tap can trigger sleep mode, which can turn off the lights, close the curtains, and lower the temperature. Or if a movie night is planned, the movie program can turn on the TV and turn off the lights. When you leave the house, the SmartThings station can turn off electrical outlets and unused devices to save energy and activate the security system. Users can also request a game mode that can turn on specific TV and lighting settings and turn on Do Not Disturb mode.
Consumers can activate three different modes with short-press, long-press or double-tap activations at the touch of a smart button. Modes can also be activated via the SmartThings app, whether people are at home or away.
Find and control your home devices with more precision
SmartThings Station is also integrated with SmartThings Find, Samsung’s growing asset tracking service. It helps users locate misplaced devices – double-tapping the smart button can ring your nearby phone, making it easy to locate.
Serving as an always-on device scanner, SmartThings Station helps Samsung Galaxy users track the location of their personal belongings, from smartphones, tablets, watches and headphones to keys or a wallet with a Galaxy SmartTag or SmartTag+ device. related. By regularly scanning devices, SmartThings Station will show users the location of connected smart devices or tags around the home and share an alert with the user’s smartphone when the tag or device leaves or returns.
A fast charger that fits perfectly into a smart home
The SmartThings Station is also a powerful charger that supports up to 15W wireless charging. Fast charging is the perfect addition to the Smart Home hub because it adapts well to the pace of life. Users can choose to receive a notification when charging is complete, so they can pick up where they left off or switch to charging another device.
