Samsung Wallet combines the best of Samsung Pay and Samsung Pass, adding new features to Galaxy smartphones to make life easier for users.
Samsung introduces Samsung Wallet[1]A new platform that combines and enriches the existing functionality of Samsung Pay and Samsung Pass on Galaxy smartphones[2]. Samsung Wallet is an extremely simple solution for smartphones, users can now store dematerialized car keys, boarding passes, etc. in addition to such services, they can have access tickets.

More than just a payment service
Today, Samsung Wallet provides access to dematerialized entrance tickets to big-name shows and cultural venues such as the Palace of Versailles, Atelier des Lumières, Bassins de Lumières, Carrières de Lumières, Caumont Center d’Art.[4]
Samsung Pay enables millions of users around the world to make payments with ease every day. Samsung Wallet builds on the success of the app, offering consumers a polished interface and access to payment cards, loyalty and membership cards, and more. provides one-touch access.
Other important official documents, such as COVID-19 vaccination certificates or a vaccination card, may be stored in Samsung Wallet in some regions.[5]for easy and secure authentication.
Samsung Wallet makes smart home management easy. Through SmartThings integration and Samsung’s collaboration with 15 companies[6] Home security systems that support over 135 smart door locks, users can easily lock and unlock their doors with their Galaxy devices. Also, Samsung Wallet can store digital car keys of certain BMW models.[7] : the app can thus be used to lock and unlock the car, start the engine and even share the keys securely with friends and family members.
Samsung Wallet also includes Samsung Pass, which securely stores passwords for online account access, as well as boarding passes and event tickets.[8]. On the go, Samsung Wallet can be used to organize tickets, allowing users to simplify their preparations. Samsung’s partnership with Korean Air[9] Korean Air lets you store boarding passes in Samsung Wallet for easy access, making boarding as easy as logging into an online account.
Guaranteed security thanks to Samsung Knox
Samsung Wallet is protected by Samsung Knox, the standard security platform[10]. Protections include fingerprint recognition and encryption that protect sensitive data, so only the device owner can access their important information. In addition to Samsung Knox, data stored in Samsung Wallet is encrypted and stored in isolated environments, whether or not it is a “Secure Execution Environment” (reliable execution environment) or “embedded Secure Element” (built-in secure environment), a tamper chip that resists digital and physical hacking.
Even if their phone is lost, users have peace of mind knowing that everything stored in Samsung Wallets is protected by Samsung Knox and biometric authentication. Thanks to FindMyMobile[11]Samsung Wallet can also be remotely disabled and users can remotely lock their device for an added level of protection.
Availability
Samsung Wallet is currently available in six markets: France, Germany, Italy, Spain, the UK and the US. To start using Samsung Wallet, Galaxy users simply open the Samsung Pay or Samsung Pass app on an eligible Galaxy device and follow the prompt to update the software or visit the Galaxy Store.[12].
