A post-apocalyptic series about Sheriff Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) has come a long way since its inception in 2010, when it woke up from a coma and found the world overrun by zombies (referred to as “walkers” in the series). Some of the characters we loved died too soon or left the series, and conversely, some of the enemies we were eager to root for have outlived their desires. We’ve seen characters fall in and out of love, question their purpose in a new world, and do whatever it takes to survive.
Based on the horror series Robert Kirkman‘s graphic novels of the same name continues to grow a huge fan following and has since spawned several spin-off projects in various stages of development. First real Our taste for spin-offs returned in 2015 Fear the living dead. The first three seasons are set in Los Angeles, California, and begin before the apocalypse, rather than in Atlanta, Georgia amid the madness. In full-screen dramatic irony, viewers can cope with a family blissfully unaware of the struggles that come with being human, not by killing the dead. The series is led by high school counselor Madison Clark (Kim Dicken), who lives with her fiance Travis (Cliff Curtis) and is busy raising her daughter Alicia (Alycia Debnam Carey) and his drug-addicted son Nick (Frank Dillane). Their normal life, as the name suggests, is increasingly plagued by fear, and more and more people around them succumb to this mysterious plague.

The Walking Dead: Off World may have answers. During the bridge explosion that nearly killed our beloved sheriff, Jadis had contacted a group known as the Civil Republic. In typical Rick fashion, his last episode featured him risking his life for those he loves. Fortunately, Rick somehow survived the bridge explosion and was rescued by Jadis’ helicopter and taken to an unknown location.
A lot has changed for our surviving characters since Rick was recruited, and honestly, the flagship series has never been the same.
