Looking at these renders, the two models are said to be very similar in design aside from their different sizes. Like the Galaxy S23+, the Samsung Galaxy S23 will have the right to evolve in the photography department. It will have the same aesthetic as the S22 Ultra. Performance and autonomy
Now let’s take a look at what’s under the hood.
First news: a priori, Samsung will no longer push Exynos chips from the S23 generation. For the S23s, that means it will opt for the yet-to-be-announced Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 instead of the Exynos 2300. Qualcomm has also confirmed the information, so it smells pretty good. It’s even possible that the S23 will benefit from an overclocked version of 3.36GHz versus the base 3.2GHz.
If this might seem a little technical, even second-rate at first glance, know that the S22 Ultra’s Exynos, and in-game temperature management in particular, were among the phone’s major failings in our eyes. An S23 Ultra under Snapdragon would therefore be very good news for everyone.
